Construction of a remote self-contained shelter outside the school grounds
The construction of a new underground dual-purpose protective structure at the Veliko Oleksandrivsky Lyceum is a vital step for the safety of students and ensuring the continuous educational process in conditions of military threat. The designed structure will not only serve as a shelter with a high level of protection (PRU group P-6 for 720 people), but will also become a modern educational and cultural space in peacetime. It provides rooms for classes, creativity, watching films, shooting ranges, places for storing materials and organizing short-term events. During an emergency, the structure will guarantee 48 hours of autonomous stay in safe conditions, with everything necessary: bathrooms, a cafeteria, a first-aid post, and engineering infrastructure. The implementation of this project is critically important for the community, because it is not only about comfort, but also about preserving the lives of our children, teachers, and residents in the event of a threat.
