Modernization of the fire safety system using innovative technologies
The project involves equipping the Lyceum No. 2 building with a modern fire alarm system (FAS), a fire warning system and evacuation management system, as well as organizing the output of an alarm signal to the centralized fire monitoring console. The goal is to increase the level of fire safety, timely detection of fires, prompt informing people and response services. 2. Installation of a fire alarm system Installation of the FAS includes the following works: installation of fire detectors: smoke (in classrooms, corridors, offices); heat (in technical rooms); installation of manual fire detectors (near evacuation exits); laying cable lines (fire-resistant cable); installation of a receiving and control device (PCD); installation of backup power sources; connection of the system to the power grid. All work is carried out in accordance with current standards (DBN, DSTU, PUE). Installation of the alarm system The alarm system provides: automatic sound fire alarm; broadcast of voice messages (evacuation); zone control (separate floors/blocks). The system includes: sound sirens; voice annunciators (loudspeakers); amplifier and control unit; light boards "EXIT". Output to the fire monitoring console It is planned to connect the system to the centralized fire monitoring console (PCPS), which provides: automatic transmission of the "FIRE" signal; transmission of the "FAILURE" signal; round-the-clock monitoring of the system status; prompt departure of fire and rescue units. Signal transmission can be carried out via: GSM/4G channel; Ethernet (Internet); backup communication channel. System maintenance Maintenance includes: monthly system performance check; testing of sensors and detectors; checking backup power supply; cleaning sensors from dust; checking communication channels with the remote control; keeping a work log. Expected results The implementation of the system will allow: timely detection of fires; minimizing risks to the lives of students and staff; ensuring rapid response of emergency services; meeting fire safety requirements for educational institutions.
