The project provides for the construction of a new civil defense protective structure - anti-radiation shelter (PRU) on the territory of the Municipal Institution "Blystavytsia Preschool Education Institution of Combined Type No. 8 "Zolota Rybka" of the Buchanan City Council of the Kyiv Region at the address: Kyiv Region, Buchanansky District, Blystavytsia Village, Soborna St., 29. The implementation of the project is due to the need to ensure the safety of life and health of preschool children and employees of the institution in martial law, as well as to create conditions for the continuous functioning of the preschool educational institution with the possibility of full-time attendance. The design solution provides for: construction of a separately located or built-in (depending on the design documentation) protective structure designed to shelter all pupils and staff of the institution; ensuring that the shelter complies with the requirements of civil defense, DBN, sanitary and fire safety standards; arrangement of ventilation, emergency and main lighting, water supply and drainage systems; creation of conditions for a long stay of children, taking into account the age characteristics of preschoolers; equipping the shelter with basic means to continue the educational process while staying in the protective structure; ensuring accessibility for low-mobility groups of the population, including children with special educational needs; improvement of the surrounding area and safe evacuation routes to the shelter. The implementation of the project will allow: to guarantee an adequate level of protection for preschool children; to create conditions for the full-time functioning of the preschool educational institution even in the presence of security threats; to increase the level of community preparedness for emergencies and strengthen the civil protection system at the local level.
