Construction of a modular prefabricated civil defense structure (CDS) on the territory of the lyceum
The proposed solution involves the construction of a modern civil defense shelter designed for 500 people, which will provide safe conditions for students (887 children) and employees (80 people) of Lyceum No. 17. The new structure will meet the requirements of the State Code of Civil Protection and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, will be equipped with ventilation, water supply, sewage, backup power supply, lighting and communication systems. The project will allow: to eliminate the critical shortage of safe places (currently there are only shelters for 110 people, which is less than 12% of the need); to guarantee the continuity of the educational process in conditions of military threats; to ensure inclusiveness and accessibility for low-mobility population groups; to create a multifunctional space that can be used for educational and sports needs of the community in peacetime.
