The alternative technical solution involves the construction of a monolithic underground reinforced concrete structure of dual purpose (protective structure of civil defense — anti-radiation shelter), designed to shelter 300 people (students and employees of the Prydniprovsky Lyceum). ? Structural scheme — monolithic reinforced concrete frame with covering slabs, foundation slab, external and internal walls made of concrete class C25/30 with reinforcement A500S and A240S. Spatial rigidity is ensured by the joint operation of structures. ? Type of structure — underground, buried 2.2-2.3 m from the ground surface, one-story, rectangular in plan (30 × 35.4 m), height of premises — 2.7 m. Design protection factor (Kz) — 1000, excessive shock wave pressure ΔP — 100 kPa, shelter group — P-1. ? Functional zoning: main rooms for sheltering people; auxiliary areas (bathrooms, showers, buffet area, sanitary post, rooms for storing water and food, pantry, technical rooms — ventilation chambers, electrical switchboard, tanks, pump room); two evacuation exits (one through a tunnel with a vertical shaft); entrance for low-mobility groups through a vertical elevator. ? Finishing and safety of materials — all finishing materials are non-combustible, safe for children, with certificates of conformity; floors — concrete or porcelain stoneware, moisture-resistant, non-slip. ? Conditions of stay — autonomous stay up to 48 hours: a supply of water, food, medical supplies, seats and places to lie down, ventilation, sanitary and hygienic conditions are provided. ? Use in peacetime — as an underground educational or sports space (interactive shooting range, tennis, yoga, exercise therapy, etc.). ? Compliance with standards — the project was implemented in accordance with DBN V.2.2-5:2023 «Protective structures of civil defense», DBN A.2.2-3-2014, DBN V.1.1-7:2016, DBN V.2.2-9:2018, the Civil Defense Code of Ukraine.
