Technical re-equipment of substation No. 23 ZRU-6kV, VRU-35kV
New construction of an electrical substation to ensure power supply to facilities in the Ternivskyi district of the city of Kryvyi Rih
The chosen technical solution is the technical re-equipment of substation No. 23 ZRU-6kV, VRU-35kV with the phased replacement of outdated electrical equipment with modern energy-efficient and reliable analogues without changing the functional purpose of the facility. The solution involves the implementation of a set of measures, in particular, the replacement of 6 kV oil circuit breakers with vacuum circuit breakers, the modernization of relay protection and automation systems with the introduction of modern digital technologies, the renewal of current and voltage transformers, insulation equipment, as well as the replacement of cable lines of operational circuits. It is also planned to increase the level of dispatching and controllability of the substation's technological processes. The technical re-equipment of the substation will be carried out without decommissioning the facility as a whole, with phased implementation of the work, which will ensure the continuity of power supply to consumers of reliability category I, in particular critical infrastructure facilities. The chosen solution allows for the most efficient use of the existing infrastructure base, minimize the volume of construction work, reduce the project implementation time, and reduce total capital costs compared to alternative options associated with the construction of new facilities. As a result of the implementation of the technical solution, increased reliability of power supply, reduced accident rates, improved energy efficiency, compliance with modern technical standards, and increased sustainability of the community's energy infrastructure will be ensured.
