The project provides for a major reconstruction of the existing catering building with the expansion of production areas by constructing a new extension measuring 17.40 x 6.30 m. Architectural and planning changes allow transforming the facility into a technological model of the "Support Kitchen" with a capacity of 360 portions, ensuring clear zoning of "clean" and "dirty" processes in accordance with the requirements of the HACCP system. The solution includes the creation of a full set of production workshops, warehouse areas and a separate logistics gateway for packaging and shipping ready-made meals in thermoboxes to other educational institutions in the community. The engineering component of the project is based on the principles of energy efficiency and environmental safety. A complete thermal modernization of the external contour of the building is provided (insulation of walls with 150 mm basalt wool, insulation of the roof and floor, replacement of windows), which minimizes heat loss. To ensure the microclimate, a modern supply and exhaust ventilation system with heat recovery is being implemented, and the water and sewage network is being modernized by installing grease traps and local treatment facilities, which meets environmental standards. The technological solution is completed by completely re-equipping the catering unit with the latest heating and refrigeration equipment (steam and convection ovens, electric stoves), which optimizes cooking processes and energy consumption. An important element is the creation of a barrier-free environment: installation of ramps, lifts, tactile navigation and the arrangement of inclusive bathrooms, which guarantees free access and safe operation of the facility for all participants in the educational process, including low-mobility groups.
