Mensk supporting institution of general secondary education of I-III degrees named after T.G. Shevchenko of the Mensk City Council is the largest educational institution in the Mensk community, which covers the education of students from the city and 8 surrounding villages. The educational institution has 34 classes, where 794 students receive education, 80 teachers and 22 non-teaching staff work. As of 01/20/2025, 480 students eat in the canteen of the educational institution. Of them: - IDPs - 24, - children with disabilities - 20, - children deprived of parental care -5, - children - orphans -2, - children from large families -11. Currently, meals are served in a building built at the beginning of the 20th century, which was adapted as a school canteen in 1949. The technical condition of the building does not allow for its modernization and renewal of equipment that would meet modern requirements: safe storage of food products and the introduction of modern cooking technologies. The canteen has an outdated interior, an insufficient number of rooms for equipping the catering unit&#39;s workshops, and a small dining hall area. Irrational planning of the canteen premises slows down the work of the staff and the food preparation process. Old equipment constantly breaks down, which leads to delays in food preparation and increased repair costs; the equipment does not meet modern standards. The project provides for a comprehensive reconstruction of part of the non-residential premises of the Menka support ZZSO 1-3rd century. named after T.G.Shevchenko of the Menka city council at the address: Mena, Chernihivskyi shliakh st., 7. Among the comprehensive reconstruction measures, it is planned to carry out a major renovation of the premises for the future catering unit and purchase the necessary technological equipment for organizing hot meals using basic kitchen technology and such that will meet HACCP requirements.

Шевченка Менської міської ради є найбільшим закладом освіти в Менській громаді, яких охоплює навчанням учнів міста та 8 навколишніх сіл.&nbsp; У закладі освіти функціонує 34 класи, де здобувають освіту 794 учні, працює 80 вчителів і 22 непедагогічні працівники. Станом на 20.01.2025 у їдальні закладу освіти харчуються 480 учнів. З них:- ВПО &ndash; 24, - дітей з інвалідністю &ndash; 20,- дітей, позбавлених батьківського піклування -5, - дітей &ndash; сиріт -2, - дітей із багатодітних сімей -11.
Наразі харчування здійснюється в приміщенні,&nbsp; збудованому на початку ХХ ст., яке було пристосовано під шкільну їдальню в 1949 році. Технічний стан будівлі не дозволяє провести її модернізацію і поновлення обладнання, які б відповідали сучасним вимогам: безпечному зберіганні харчових продуктів та запровадженні сучасних технологій приготування страв. Їдальня&nbsp; має&nbsp; застарілий інтер'єр, недостатню кількість кімнат для обладнання цехів харчоблоку, мала площа обідньої зали.&nbsp;Нераціональне планування приміщення їдальні уповільнює роботу персоналу та процесу приготування їжі. Старе обладнання постійно ламається, що призводить до затримок у приготуванні їжі та збільшення витрат на ремонт, обладнання не відповідає сучасним стандартам.
Проєктом передбачено комплексну реконструкцію частини нежитлового приміщення Менського опорного ЗЗСО І-ІІІ ст. ім.Т.Г.Шевченка Менської міської ради за адресою: м. Мена, вул. Чернігівський шлях, 7. Серез заходів комплексної реконструкції передбачено проведення капітального ремонту приміщення під майбутній харчоблок та закупівлю необхідного технологічного обладнання для організації гарячого харчування за технологією базової кухні та такого, що буде відповідати вимогам HACCP.
