General information

Description of the project

Creating a modern educational space at the Siletsk Lyceum of Kamianskaya TG is the creation of interactive spaces equipped with digital measuring complexes, multimedia systems, safe workplaces, ergonomic furniture and materials for practical research, which increases interest in natural sciences. The project plans to equip 3 modern natural science laboratories - chemistry, biology and physics and one STEM laboratory, which will be equipped with the necessary laboratory equipment, demonstration materials and digital teaching aids for conducting experimental research and practical classes. The laboratory space will be adapted for the implementation of project activities, experimentation, modeling and work with modern educational technologies. In addition to laboratories, it is planned to modernize theoretical learning spaces, which will be equipped with modern furniture, multimedia equipment and teaching materials for effective teaching and implementation of interactive teaching methods. The problem that the project solves:  non-compliance of classrooms with modern educational standards, insufficient level of equipment, which limits the possibilities of implementing a competency-based approach and using modern educational technologies. Expected results: creation and renovation of a modern educational space; improving the quality of educational services; providing students and teachers with access to modern equipment; improving learning conditions and implementing the state standard of basic secondary education.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the quality of services

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The main goal of the project is to create a new, modern educational space, which will become the basis for providing high-quality educational services and provide an appropriate material and technical base for the academic lyceum. The project plans to equip three modern natural science laboratories - chemistry, biology and physics, which will be equipped with the necessary laboratory equipment, demonstration materials and digital teaching aids for conducting experimental research and practical classes. It is also planned to create a STEM laboratory, which will provide integrated learning in natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics. The laboratory space will be adapted for the implementation of project activities, experimentation, modeling and work with modern educational technologies.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problems: non-compliance of the material and technical base with the requirements of the National University of Science and Technology; limited opportunities for laboratory and practical work; insufficient level of digitalization of the educational process; worn-out furniture and equipment. If not resolved: decrease in the quality of the educational process; restriction of students' access to modern educational technologies; deepening of the gap between the requirements of state standards and actual learning conditions. Expected results of implementation: creation of three modern science classrooms; improvement of the quality of educational services; ensuring access of students and teachers to modern laboratory and digital equipment; formation of a safe and modern educational environment.
