General information

Description of the project

The project is aimed at integrating residents of the Bakhmut urban territorial community into new places of residence by providing them with housing and accompanying social services. The project concept involves dividing a quarter of the territory of the village of Goshcha with an area of ~6 hectares into small-scale areas, building housing from steel structures, creating objects and landmarks that existed in Bakhmut (Alley of Roses, Embankment - an image of the Bakhmutka River from phosphors). This project was given the symbolic name "Revival".

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

Due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, residents of the Bakhmut urban territorial community were forced to leave their homes and move to safer regions of Ukraine. The main problem for internally displaced persons remains the lack of housing that would meet basic needs. The implementation of the project through the construction of residential apartment buildings will provide internally displaced persons with affordable housing, taking into account their needs, capabilities, vulnerability criteria, and will also provide them with accompanying social services.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The main problem for internally displaced persons remains the lack of housing that would meet basic needs. This leads to the fact that people decide to leave the country abroad. The country is losing human capital, which negatively affects its demographic potential. The implementation of the project is aimed at integrating residents of the Bakhmut urban territorial community into the Goshchansk settlement territorial community. The project will contribute to the sustainable development of the Goshchansk settlement territorial community, namely: population growth in the community, growth in consumer demand, development of the settlement infrastructure and preservation of the existing one, growth in demand for social services, increase in revenues to the settlement budget, creation of new jobs, expansion of the range of educational, medical, social, cultural services. opening of new small/medium business facilities; attracting international and Ukrainian investments for the further development of the community, creation of social housing stock.
