Current status, description of problems and needs for their solution
The existing equipment is partially destroyed as a result of missile attacks on the infrastructure from the Russian side, is not efficient enough in terms of the depth of processing (currently, the depth of oil processing in the light of petroleum products is about 74%), emits significant volumes of greenhouse gases and limits the possibilities of increasing the volume of oil processing to cover most of the domestic Ukrainian market's demand for petroleum products.
A detailed description of the project goal and the way to achieve it
The goal of the project is the comprehensive modernization of the Kremenchug Refinery to increase the volume and depth of processing and, as a result, to overcome the critical dependence of the Ukrainian economy on the import of petroleum products.
