PrJSC "Ukrhydroenergo" is the main hydropower generating company of Ukraine, which provides coverage of peak loads in the daily schedule of the power system, frequency and power regulation, and is an emergency reserve in the combined power system.
Taking into account the significant period of operation of equipment and hydraulic structures, further operation of hydroelectric units without continuing complex reconstruction would lead to a decrease in the capacity and electricity generation of hydroelectric power plants and hydroelectric power plants, an increase in operation and maintenance costs, a decrease in the reliability and safety of operation of equipment and structures, an increase in the emergency outputs of the equipment with an ever-increasing volume of repair and restoration works.
A detailed description of the project goal and the way to achieve it
Bringing the existing modes of operation of hydroelectric power plants, gas power plants PJSC "Ukrhydroenergo" to European standards, in particular, extending the operating life of hydroelectric units, improving the operational stability and reliability of power supply, increasing the regulatory capacity of UES, increasing the efficiency and level of safe operation of hydroelectric power plants and gas power plants, ensuring the safety of electricity supply to consumers .
