Involvement of a strategic investor for the development of the Stremyhorod deposit of titanium ores with the subsequent creation of a mining and processing complex

The project concerns the mining industry of Ukraine and, in case of full implementation – involves the creation of high-tech titanium production – a product of a strategic nature for modern high-tech industries (automotive, aviation, military industry, etc.). Zhytomyr region traditionally has a large number of mining enterprises. The financial structure of the project – CAPEX 100% The state, represented by the State Geological Survey, has prepared a set of geological data for a preliminary assessment by a potential investor of the prospects of the specified ilmenite ore deposit. The starting price of the auction for the sale of a special permit or as part of the mechanism for concluding a production sharing agreement will be formed accordingly. All other stages of the project – 100% financing by the investor-owner of a special permit. The project is designed for a period of 50 years and involves 4 stages – conducting an auction or URP competition for the sale of a special permit for the use of subsoil; carrying out a detailed geological and economic assessment of reserves of the specified deposit within the framework of the Work Program in accordance with a special permit; execution of the procedures provided for by the legislation of Ukraine, which precede the stage of field development (environmental impact assessment), creation of an industrial property complex for the extraction and processing of ilmenite ores.
