Basic data
Problems
Current status, description of problems and needs for their solution
Construction of a solar generating station with a capacity of 5
MW on the territory of the Boryspil MA State Enterprise is capable
provide up to 50% of the company's needs in
electricity. This is a significant step in the direction
energy independence and efficient use
renewable energy sources, which will contribute to the reduction
electricity costs and carbon reduction
following the airport. Ensuring sustainable development
Boryspil airport as an international hub
airport, increasing passenger traffic and creating
appropriate conditions for ensuring aviation security
A detailed description of the project goal and the way to achieve it
Aviation transport is one of the most important industries
the effective functioning of the national economy
is a necessary condition for stabilization, structural
transformations, economic development and implementation
foreign trade activity, satisfaction of needs
population and social production in transportation,
ensuring the protection of Ukraine's economic interests.
Bringing the air transport infrastructure to
compliance with international requirements is important
a component of the state strategy aimed at
ensuring Ukrainian competitiveness
economy
Implementation of the solar construction project
generating station on the territory of Boryspil MA
has several important aspects:
Economic aspects:
1. Reduction of electricity costs:
On-site electricity production will allow
significantly reduce procurement costs
electricity from external sources, which will lead to
reduction of operating costs.
2. Return on investment: Considering the projected
the cost of the project, it is expected that the investment
will pay off within a few years at the expense
savings on electricity.
3. Attracting additional investments: Successful
project implementation can increase
3
attractiveness of the airport for investors that
can contribute to the development of infrastructure and
additional services.
Social aspects:
1. Creation of new jobs: In stages
design, construction and maintenance
stations will create new jobs that
will positively affect the local labor market.
2. Image improvement: Use
of renewable energy sources will increase
reputation of the airport as environmentally friendly
responsible enterprise that will contribute
attraction of passengers and partners who
support the "green" course.
Security aspects:
1. Reduction of dependence on external
energy suppliers: Own generation
of electricity will reduce the risks associated with
interruptions in the supply of electricity, which
important for the smooth operation of the airport.
2. Energy autonomy: Provision of up to 50%
electricity needs will allow the airport
function more sustainably during crises
situations or external influences that can
affect the energy supply.
Environmental aspects:
1. Reduction of CO2 emissions: Production
electricity from solar panels will contribute
significant reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,
which corresponds to global goals in the fight against
climate change.
2. Rational use of land resources:
Use of land plots for accommodation
solar panels is effective and does not harm
environment, avoiding impact on
natural ecosystems.
3. Stimulation of the development of green energy:
The project will serve as an example for other enterprises
and communities regarding the possibilities of integration
renewable energy sources in their activities.
During the development of project documentation will be
environmental protection measures are provided,
that will meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "About
environmental impact assessment" and DBN A.2.2-1:2021 "Composition and

Expected number of direct users
services and facilities: more than 15 million passengers per year (but
at least 5 million passengers per year)
