The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has agreed to provide additional funding for 75 projects currently underway, reaching at least 40% completion. The final deadline for completion of these projects is the end of 2025. The regions to receive support are Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, and Chernihiv. The total amount of the subvention in 2025 is UAH 960 million. The Government of Ukraine approved additional funding for 75 school canteen projects

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved funding for 60 projects to equip shelters in general secondary education institutions, including:<ul><li>27 institutions in high-risk areas, totaling over UAH 1.63 billion;</li><li>33 institutions in extremely high-risk areas, totaling nearly UAH 2.19 billion.</li></ul>The risk levels are determined based on each community's security situation and proximity to active hostilities. The total amount of the subsidy exceeds UAH 3.8 billion.Projects will be implemented in educational institutions located in the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.New and modernized shelters will enhance the safety of students and teachers during the learning process and increase schools' readiness for potential threats. MoES subvention for school shelters: Funding Approved for 60 Projects 

New features have been introduced to make working with the interactive map even more efficient.&nbsp; Specifically: Sectoral Classification by the "Shelters" Parameter&nbsp; A "Shelters" button now appears in the Sectoral Classifications section of the interactive map. DREAM Map Updates: “Shelters” filter, expanded Search Parameters, and updated RDNA4 Data

In Kolomyia Ivano-Frankivsk region, canteen modernizations were carried out at two educational institutions: Kolomyiskyi Lyceum No. 5, named after Taras Shevchenko, and Branch No. 6, named after the Hero of Ukraine Taras Seniuk.&nbsp; Comprehensive premises renovations were completed, and modern energy-efficient equipment was installed. Both lyceums underwent partial remodeling, replacing worn-out elements with modern, energy-saving alternatives and upgrading their engineering systems.&nbsp; This included installing new ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as water supply and sewerage systems. The newly acquired equipment includes refrigerators, freezers, combi-steam ovens, vegetable slicers, dishwashers, dough mixers, and more.&nbsp; Special attention was paid to improving sanitary conditions by installing modern air purification systems, disinfection equipment, and temperature controls.&nbsp; The total cost of the project at Lyceum No. 5 was UAH 8.6 million, of which UAH 6.8 million was financed by the state and UAH 1.7 million was provided by the local budget.&nbsp; At Branch No. 6 of Lyceum No. 9, UAH 10.5 million was spent, with UAH 8.4 million coming from the state budget and UAH 2.1 million contributed by the local community.&nbsp; “Project selection is carried out through the DREAM system, which involves a range of criteria including a hub school status, number of students, etc. Our project scored highly and was submitted for committee review. Part of the funds was approved from the state budget, while the local authorities provided the remainder”, - said Bohdan Stanislavskyi, Mayor of Kolomyia.&nbsp; The reconstruction of these facilities was part of the school nutrition reform initiated by Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska.&nbsp; Overall, in 2024, 159 projects were approved with a total value of UAH 1.5 billion based on applications submitted via the DREAM ecosystem.
